Habits, Chasing Goals, Raising Leaders

Let’s get one thing straight: I didn’t start this blog because I have it all figured out. I started it because I don’t, and I think that’s worth talking about beyond just my fellow mom friends.
I’m a woman with big career aspirations, two kids who think they’re training for professional sport contracts (and honestly, I’m not ruling it out), a husband who lovingly tolerates my crazy ventures, and a calendar that looks like it was designed by a caffeinated octopus. I coach, I lead, I meal prep like it’s a competitive sport, and I try…..really try…..to raise empowered, respectful humans who know how to fuel their bodies and speak their minds (unfortunately even back to me….).
This blog is my space to unpack all of it. The wins, the messes, the moments I feel like a superhero, and the ones where I hide in the pantry with the candy bowl and questionable life choices.
Why “Raising Resilience Daily”?
Because that’s what I’m doing. Every day. In my kids, in my career, in myself. Resilience isn’t a one-time achievement; it’s a muscle. And some days, mine is sore.
I want to write about what inspires me (like listening to my daughter tell me she is confused with Eminem’s lyric “one shot, one opportunity” when you can just try again), what frustrates me (like trying to explain why we have to go watch their sibling at their practice), and what keeps me going (like the seeing hard work pay off in myself and others who are building careers and raising families with grit and grace).
What You’ll Find Here
- Real talk about balancing ambition and motherhood
- Macro-friendly meal plans that won’t make your kids revolt
- Reflections on parenting, growth, and the art of showing up
This isn’t a highlight reel. It’s a living, breathing journal of what it means to chase goals while raising leaders, and trying not to lose your mind in the process.
So if you’re a mom, a coach, a career woman, or just someone who appreciates a good eye-roll and a better protein pancake recipe, welcome. I’m glad you’re here.
Come with me along my ride to raise resilience. Daily.
